Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you will be met by your guide and depart for the Serengeti. As you drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoy the scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you’ll head straight out for a game drive, with a picnic lunch en route. The Serengeti’s endless plains are home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and the iconic wildebeest migration. In the evening, check in at your camp or lodge and enjoy dinner under the African sky.
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti, following the herds as they move across the plains. Your guide will lead you to the best spots for viewing the migration, where you’ll witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras as they journey in search of fresh grazing grounds. Keep an eye out for predators, including lions, hyenas, and leopards, as they stalk the herds. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue your game drive into the afternoon, returning to your camp in the evening.
On your third day, continue tracking the migration, heading to different areas of the Serengeti to see where the herds are most active. Your guide will offer insight into the ecosystem and the movement of the wildlife, ensuring you get the best vantage points for watching the migration. As you traverse the park, you’ll also have the opportunity to see a variety of other wildlife, including cheetahs, buffalo, and gazelles. Enjoy a sundowner before heading back to your lodge for your final night in the Serengeti.
After breakfast, take one last morning game drive in the Serengeti, capturing any final wildlife moments before heading back to Arusha. You’ll arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon, marking the end of your incredible migration safari.
