With two friends I did a spontaneous 3 day Mt. Meru Trekking with Elia Safari and had one of the best experience of my lifetime. They organised everything like transportation, guide, porters and also some hiking gear we hadn’t because we decided to do Mt. Meru 5 days before when we still were in Tanzania. It was all perfect. Especially our Guide Gilberth was amazing! He knows so much about the envierment and nature around and we could asked any questions. Also he was so kind and communicative that we had really good conversations during the hike. He always took care and made us stay positive so we all reached the summit easily. We started our trip in Tanzania with one of my dreams, to climb Kilimanjaro. My girlfriend had a friend who had climbed the mountain just a couple of month earlier.  Verified Day hike Kilimanjaro
We first met John to discuss the plan for our day hike on Kilimanjaro, and he gave us all the information to prepare us for our adventure. On the day everything was organised and ran smoothly, John was very friendly knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The hike John planned was absolutely stunning, the scenery was spectacular and wild flowers were everywhere! We had a delicious packed lunch, with plenty to eat and enjoyed learning about the wildlife and nature of Kilimanjaro. The weather was wet, but we enjoyed the unique environment of Kili. I would recommend everyone to plan a trip with John, he has decades of experience as a guide and is such a lovely man to spend time with. John Nnko was a fantastic guide with a great team. We felt protected and save the whole tour. On the summit day he even organized porters to carry our backpacks.
