Booking & Reservation
- All bookings with Elia Safaris must be confirmed in writing via email or WhatsApp.
- A deposit of 30% – 50% of the total safari cost is required to secure the booking.
- The remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the safari begins.
- For last-minute bookings (within 30 days), full payment is required at confirmation.
Payment Methods
- We accept Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, Mobile Money (for local clients), or Cash payment upon arrival if agreed in advance.
- Any bank transfer charges are the responsibility of the client.
Cancellation Policy
- 60+ days before arrival: Full refund minus bank charges.
- 30–59 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee.
- 15–29 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee.
- 0–14 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee.
- Elia Safaris strongly recommends that all clients purchase travel insurance.
Changes to the Itinerary
- Elia Safaris reserves the right to adjust itineraries due to weather conditions, park regulations, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Any changes will aim to provide equal or better experiences for clients.
Client Responsibilities
- Clients must ensure they have a valid passport and visa where required.
- Clients should meet vaccination and health requirements.
- Clients are responsible for adequate travel insurance covering medical, evacuation, and cancellation.
Liability
- Elia Safaris acts as a tour operator and agent for accommodations, airlines, and transport providers.
- We are not liable for injuries, delays, loss, accidents, or circumstances beyond our control such as weather conditions, government actions, natural disasters, or airline delays.
Health & Safety
- Clients must follow instructions from guides and park authorities at all times.
- Participation in trekking, safaris, and outdoor activities is at the client’s own risk.
Accommodation & Transport
- Accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking.
- If a lodge or camp becomes unavailable, Elia Safaris will provide an alternative of similar standard.
Force Majeure
Elia Safaris is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our control such as natural disasters, pandemics, political instability, or park closures.
Photography & Marketing
Elia Safaris may use photos or videos taken during safaris for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
